Peace

Even when I am sleepiest, I know
if you plan to devalue your currency,
no one may want to trade it
for the future.

One of our favorite neighborhood moms
told me of her daughter being excited
by something she had heard in school.
It was about supporting the US war on Iraq.
When the meaning behind the banners and slogans
was measured and balanced, the young girl lamented
Oh well, I guess its not our flag.

The flag has been taken.
  Those who love our flag
and the things it continues to stand for
need to have their voices heard now
or fear having them eventually muffled

The flag represents
  neither the imperial ambition
of this yellow dog presidential regime
nor the total sacrifice of human dignity and corporate honesty
in the name of US market forces and the law of the jungle.

The flag we know stands for a strongly libertarian set of ideals
the ability to get by with hard work and expect approximate justice,
honest money and respect for others' rights,
without fear of salacious intent from the rest of government.

The flag flying now in Washington DC is not that flag.
Watch it be taken to war.

so much good as already been done (the work of others)

This is a sample of SVG.
